Elizabeth is transparent, honest, and upbeat as she worked with us on our February 2017 wedding. I did the majority of my planning prior to acquiring her services in October. She served more in the capacity of my day of coordinator; however she did finalize my timeline, facilitate rehearsal, assisted the decor vendor with table decor set up/breakdown, and made me an “extra” happy bride the day of by bringing mimosas which was really nice of her “she inquired first”.
Our introduction was via phone, and we followed up with a face to face meeting for which she was very pleasant. She was honest in letting me know she was building her portfolio as single handed executing a professional event, but had a substantial amount of experience event planning/executing through a former employer. I was not too concerned again as I had the planning phase covered. She was willing to assist with whatever I needed, and we communicated on a need to bases as I was not a “needy” bride.
Outside of our initial meeting the majority of our communication was via text. We had our “breakdown” of communication, but we soon got back on track. There was no further related issues. As it relates to the day of I would say it went fairly well, looking back it’s a blur… There was a noticeable hiccup with our cater on food service “no result of her”; but I wish it was more seamless to me as the bride. All and all, she is very nice, willing, and capable event planner. As she builds her portfolio she will excel; as experience is a good teacher to all. She has a passion, for which I appreciate all her hard work and efforts. She did a good job!
