In collaboration with Pop The Champagne’s new macrame line, we recently planned a photo shoot to encompass both the new inventory and a growing trend we are seeing in the wedding world! Bride’s are now frequently looking to mix romantic and boho styles in a more high end way and we wanted to show our clients what that could look like. With traditional place settings and unique touches in the bridal hat and backdrops, we couldn’t have been more thrilled! Check it out below and the amazing team of vendors who made it possible!
When Branan and Andy reached out to us about helping with their New Years Eve wedding we were so excited! They were such a down to earth couple and planning a fun evening with lots of delicious food, an awesome band, and amazing DIY decor by the bride who is a designer herself! From the rose gold sparkle to the smiles that never left their faces all night, this wedding was one for the books. Check out some of the photos below! And a HUGE thank you to all of the wonderful vendors who made this possible:
Carla and Robbie were such an amazing couple to work with! They reached out looking for help with their September Charlotte wedding in summer of 2018. Unfortunately, Hurricane Florence forced a change of date and the wedding was moved to November. I’ve never seen a couple handle a change that big with such grace and kindness. The rain held off for their new wedding day and it was filled with the love and joy of all those who came to celebrate them! We hope you enjoy the images for their gorgeous day as much as we did looking back on them.
Joel and Celeste were married on a beautiful October day at Whispering Oaks in Julian, NC. Despite hurricane issues (cough cough, no power to the venue without a generator) and a late season for growing pumpkins, their day could not have been more perfect! Their barn had lots of industrial accents and with the flames of the floating candles dancing in the dark and the unique blue pumpkins to match the steel blue of the bridesmaids dresses, it was magic.
We met Ashlee and Joe at a bridal show in Greensboro and originally took them on as coordination clients. A few months later we decided to up that to planning as well since Ashlee had some really beautiful ideas but wasn’t sure how to bring them to life for her big day. This couple was so incredibly sweet to work with. They knew the kind of wedding they wanted, one centered on family and love, and didn’t feel pressured to chase after every typical wedding idea (WHICH WE LOVED).
Ashlee imagined a garden wedding in fall and wanted to pull from colors of the season. Their venue was a gorgeous estate Bed and Breakfast in downtown Greensboro that boasted a simple and luscious back area which we transformed for the wedding! With so many amazing details such as their water fountain, green pergola, gorgeous inside and outside stair cases, we had our work cut out for us. We took a trip to the Hauser Rental showroom and selected the wine red and gold colors that would pair perfectly with the lush green of the space for the sophisticated pallet they envisioned.
We met Torey at one of our first bridal shows and when she said she was planning her classic wedding near Charlotte we were in! We love the bright colors she used and the gorgeous floral centerpieces. Though a rain storm threatened her ceremony, it passed by right on time and the rest of the day was absolutely beautiful. This couple celebrated their specific interests as the groom chose to walk down the aisle to the Star Wars trooper song (which was AWESOME). Enjoy the photos from their big day!
We had the pleasure of knowing Keagan and Tyler since college and when they contacted us early on to help plan and coordinate their wedding we couldn’t have been more excited! This wedding was set in a gorgeous family garden which overlooked a lake and despite a brief rain shower, it was perfect. Surrounded by their family and friends these two people said “I Do” and then PARTIED! Enjoy these fun photos! We can’t wait to see what Keagan and Tyler do with the rest of their wonderful life together.
Ashley and Tim reached out to us a couple months before their wedding and we were so excited to work with such a sweet couple on their fall wedding! Her colors were some of our absolute favorites and worked so well with the warm brick of The Stockroom. They went with a heavy grazing dinner catered by Cafe Luna and it was beyond delicious and more than enough food for their guests (we might be converts to this idea now). The speeches were heartfelt and their dance floor was full ALL NIGHT! We hope you enjoy the gorgeous photos as much as we did!!
This summer, vendors across Raleigh NC teamed up to put on a host of inclusive styled shoots initiated and organized by Kevin Holland. This was such an amazing chance to team up with some of my favorite vendors and stretch our creativity. I got to make the loom in our shoot by hand through our second company, Pop The Champagne, and it was such fun! Months of figuring out how to bring our vision to life came together in the most perfect way with the most supportive group ever. See the beautiful shoot below!
Trilby and her mother came to us just 45 days before their wedding to help finalize last minute details and help with the big day and we are so happy they did! Trilby, Grant, and their families have such big hearts and included as many of their friends and family as possible in their big day. They started the morning with a big church wedding where they were able to share their ceremony and cake cutting with as many people as they wanted. After celebrating there they left for their reception which was set on their picturesque family property. The reception was the perfect mix of intimate family and laid back friends that embodied the kind of relationship dynamics that were so clear in the couples devotion to each other. Between tearful toasts from the father of the bride, and fun dances on a packed dance floor, the evening was perfect and we hope you enjoy the sweet photos as much as we did!
