Jennifer’s Wedding this past Saturday was so much fun! She was an incredibly calm bride no matter what happened and the love between her and Rob was evident in every part of their special day. The weather was (thankfully) warmer than predicted and with the sun shining and birds signing in the trees the beautiful couple was wed! Below are a few shots from our side of the process and day of!
We showed up bright and early to find the wind the night before had blown the decorations off the tables so step one was re decorate the reception area while the bride got ready! Next, I helped decorate and place the cakes for Jennifer’s reception along with one of her close family friends. As Jennifer needed items and people off I went to get them while ensuring the other vendors were arriving and setting up on schedule. The morning had a few technical bumps but everything got taken care of and the day went on!!
As the beautiful bride was getting ready she was surrounded by her friends and family including her mother and her daughter.
Then, it was time for the ceremony!! If you look closely you can find me guiding the bride to the door for her walk down the isle! The groom, their son, and their daughter made up the wedding party. Jennifer walked down with her father to live piano music with the sun shining just for her! Jennifer and Rob wrote their own vows which were both touching and heartfelt and brought many tears to the guests faces. They included a puzzle following their vows which was made up of all the parts of their family coming together. The new couple was then introduced and walked out in style.
Next up was cocktail hour and photo time! While the bride and her family took photos, I and the bartender poured the champagne. The catering of fresh bbq cooked on site the night before was also set up and organized. We ended cocktail hour by formally introducing the wedding party through the DJ that would play for the night.
And finally, it was time to party at the reception! Jennifer’s friend’s and family knew how to have a good time. It began with great catering from City BBQ and ended with a DJ that kept things moving all night long. We had toasts and first dances in between which I orchestrated with the DJ for timing and ended the evening by breaking down the reception single handedly. It was a beautiful day and I am so thankful Jennifer chose me to be part of it!
