This past May we were so excited to work with our first Bat Mitzvah family as both planners and decorators! Planning Hayden’s special day was so much fun as we sought to fill the evening with as much love, pride, and individuality as possible. This was a big step for Hayden towards becoming an adult which she took with a grace far beyond her years. It was so touching to see all of the family and friends that came to support her in this transition and the way in which each were recognized and honored for their part in her journey to where she is now. We hope you enjoy the photos below as much as we did and look forward to many more of these kinds of events to come!
This past January we had the good fortune to put together an amazing styled shoot with some of our very favorite vendors at a new wedding venue in Chapel Hill. Old Lystra Inn made the perfect backdrop for our luxury themed shoot and the owners are some of the kindest people I’ve ever met. Check out these amazing photos and video below! Here’s to all the talented vendors who help put it all together! See if you can tell that it was 14 Degrees 🙂 Continue reading
Lauren and Jordan were my last couple for 2018 with a December wedding and one of my absolute favorites! We met a few months prior at a bridal expo in Greensboro and I instantly knew that I wanted to be a part of their big day. These two are so incredibly kind and every aspect of their wedding was carefully thought out and filled with love. From the engraved bible to their tearful personal vows, this couple showed all their guests what it is to truly and deeply love and be loved in return. I wish them all the happiness in the world and hope you enjoy their beautiful big day as much as I did! Continue reading
Getting to be a part of Jessica and B’s downtown Raleigh wedding was such a blessing not only because I knew Jessica previously but because the love these two share is so authentic and full. Every moment of their wedding day was full of love and the look on their faces was magic. Jessica and B truly melted hearts. Continue reading
Heidi and Jeremy were so fun from the moment we met! Heidi has a love of cats like us and Jeremy was one of the most involved and supportive grooms I’ve met. We met over wine at Vita Vite in downtown Raleigh where they told me about their plans for the wedding and “Best Day Ever”. Heidi was obviously Rapunzel with her long blonde hair and her wedding day was every bit as magical. Continue reading
Heather and Andrew are such a sweet couple and the minute they reached out about an Outer Banks wedding we were in! The sand, the salt, the sun, everything was such a dream and Heather was definitely the mermaid. The scalloped design on her dress were perfect bridal mermaid scales and absolutely gorgeous. Rachel and Daniel are one of the sweetest and down to earth couples I’ve had the pleasure of working with so far. When planning their big day, the focus was on being truly present for their big day and spending quality time with their friends and family. Every aspect of their big day was sweet, simple, and family focused. Their save the dates were customized with the Durham city skyline and each venue they chose reflected their unique personal tastes. The two couldn’t have been more loved and their big day was a reflection of that all around. Continue reading
Michaela and Luke’s wedding was one of the sweetest I’ve seen yet. Despite being more reserved as a couple their love was more than obvious from sweet little kisses during the first dance to all the attention they gave each other and their family. Their traditional Catholic ceremony was held at St. Mary’s Basilica and their reception was across the street at The Upper Room 1871 in downtown Wilmington, NC! Both the church and the venue worked so hard to help the couple have the best wedding day possible and I was honored to work alongside such a great group of vendors. Continue reading
Irene and Chad were such a great couple throughout planning. They were calm, decisive, and really focused on making their day a celebration of their love. Irene and Chad emphasized their cultural heritage by creating an Around the World Seating chart and having guests from near and far. Their wedding took place at Cedar Grove Acres which was a wonderful mix of rustic and romantic beauty with gorgeous woods, market lights, and more! Their friends and family were fun the whole night, dancing into and out of the reception! Congrats again to the newlyweds 🙂 Continue reading
Molly and Nate’s reception following their Hawaii wedding was such a blast! Both they and their family but together the happiest and most fun reception I’ve seen in a while. It definitely didn’t hurt that they had good ol southern BBQ food from Mr. and That Dang Woman’s Catering! The whole night was filled with drinks, dancing and an abundance of love, just as they imaged it would. Congrats again to the Mr. and Mrs!!!!
